Flash good in Safari 2 but horrible in Safari 1 - help!

    Hi all!
I have a mac mini with Safari 2. Im developing a site in flash and it looks good in Safari 2, also in pc on IE, Firefox and Netscape,

but.. In Safari 1.2 it is a disaster, slow is an understatement.. it is pretty unuseful in Safari 1.x

many of the potential users of the site will have Safari 1 and I have really no clue what to do, Im stumbling in the dark. Help!

Whats the difference between Safari 2 and 1, and is there something I can do to make it work in Safari 1.2?

What's the version of the flash player you've got installed in Safari 1.x?
I seem to remember performance being a bit better in Safari 2.x, but not really that drastically.

Seems pretty unlikely to ever happen, what with Safari/WebKit being based on KHTML, not Gecko.
