We all have other jobs also. Sorry it took so long.

Blues do not match You have about 5 different shades of blue and none of them match.

    Fotos are too pixilated
The watermarked fotos are definitely not something a dental office is going to appreciate.

You should not put fotos behind your text in the text box

The font you are using is way too bulky.

The "button" look on Map and Email is really bad. There is no reason to use buttons that big. It would look more professional to have the action just on the text.

The overall layout is nice and easy....and I think if you make a few changes you will have a nice site to offer them.

    Hi MsPamela,

    Thanks for the review!

First, I'm partially color blind. Could you specify which blues don't match.
Some of the blues are meant to contrast.

The photos are placemarks only (allowed by by the stock photo house).
The client has to either supply originals or arrange for purchase. These copies
have been stretched every which way during redesigns.

The image in the text area on the first scene is meant to be "ghosted" behind
    the text.

The font is standard arial. I'm open to font suggestions.

I'll think about the buttons--size, color, etc.

Again, thanks for taking time to do a looksee.

Contrasting blues would be fine, meaning if you took various shades of blue but to use totally different colours of blue plays havoc on the eyes. Since you have trouble with colours try this.... Draw a square, choose a dark blue and white and using your gradient tool colour the square. Then when you want to make contrasting colours for your site just use the eyedropper tool and click on an area of that square then you will be sure to have always a contrasting blue but not a totally different one! :-)

In regard to the font...... Download "The Font Thing" (it is free) and type in some of the text of your website... then you can just push the arrow key to go down through your fonts and see exactly what each font on your machine looks like with that particular font! It makes life soooooo much easier! A wonderful program!

Even though the fotos are stock fotos and will be replaced with their own, you should put fotos in there that are not distorted. It just makes for a good presentation. Some people do not have the ability to see things in their mind and only see what is presented to them and that impression could cost you a job.

    Best of luck to you!

    Hi CommanderQ,

Thanks for attempt. Someone else said they had a problem using Safari,
but they at least displayed the "masthead" portion. At present, I'm using
frames (earlier design had sound) which may be a problem to Safari. I'll
be redoing the site with dynamic loading of the content portion as sprites.

And, MsPamela--could you check the latest color combos?

MUCH better with one exception....... the banner. It has a blue green and clashes with all the rest of the site. If you want it to stand out.... take a piece of your marble that you are using behind the fotos and make a seamless design of a small square of it. Then use it as a fill in that rectangle behind your banner text.

Keep up the good work! You are getting there.

    Hi MsPamela,

I experimented with the marble as the banner background, but didn't like the results. Probably since I had a tinted mask over the original, plus the original
    had a tint as well!

I did change the background to match, however. Can you believe I used to
sell high quality sheetfed printing, being partially color blind.

I made the contact page Email and Map buttons smaller but want to keep
    them fairly prominent.

Prior to your mentioning it, I had tried some different fonts. Arial gave me
the look I was going for in the banner and everything else followed, font wise.

    Thanks for all the help.

I like that blue much better!!!! Though you did leave the links buttons in another colour of blue, they are not so large and noticable.
    Looking good!

    Nice!
Now, tell me your reasoning behind having the header and footer seperate from the main movie and having a seprate movie for each of the menue buttons.......

Well, originally I had background music embedded in the footer, which
would play throughout the site unless turned off through a button displayed
on the footer. There were also individual synthesized voice overs in each
    content movie.

In a previous post I mentioned that, in fact, I'll be reworking to a single
movie format with the content "movies" converted to sprites for dynamic
    loading.

**** came back with this edit

site reworked as stated above (ignore the free site hosting stuff at the
    top--we're paying hosting customers!!)
