    [pimp] pnFlashGames redesign launched

    Hey everyone,

I've launched a very comprehensive redesign and reorganization of http://www.pnflashgames.com. There are some nice new features on the site, but most of the work was devoted to organizing information and making it more available. I'm working on rewriting our highscore component in AS 2.0 and migrating it to the new component architecture.

Thanks to everyone here for your support over the years. I've certainly enjoyed getting to know many of you.

We've got some interesting things in the works behind the scenes that may interest you guys that are looking to make some money on your games but still retain full rights and not have to create branded versions for everyone. More on that later though.

Very neat leason. Pnflashgames.com looks like a great addition to help game developers out, and the re-design seems to have great flow to it. Would love to upload a thing or up on the new site in the near future. The site seems to have a heap of great features to help promote games and i look forward to any new features that are soon to be released. All in all great work.

Thanks Lapo - I was actually working on it when you guys launched V2 of your site (which is also very cool) and I remember thinking - "Rats, he beat me to it!"

    Good job. Easy to navigate.

Only suggestion would be to break up the games on the webmaster page like you do on the play games games. Having every game listed on one page might load slow for some people.

Lee, I don't know the former design, but this one is nice and professional.

I would like to know more about your system. I've read the terms of service (pdf) but I didn't find any text about the money. When I upload a game on your website, it seems the price is around 20$, isn't it? Who decides about the price and how much goes to the game author when somebody buy it? My last question, how do you pay the authors (paypal etc...)?

Lee, be nice if games in the shop could have their own preview page, so each game could have it's own html to sit it in. It would allow for developers to present their games in a more complete way, and if need be have the hi-scores in a pop-up.

It's like a car show room, be good to have it swanky where it can be.

    Squize.
