    Spam

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to prevent spam...

I made a site for a customer and there email adressen are placed in a xml file in a subfolder of the server. since the site is online they recieve lots of spam. is it possible that spambots find that xml file and use those addresses. if so, what can i do?

    thx,

Put it inside a swf file - spam bots cant find it there.

I know, but those addresses should be easy to chance by the customer, so i need them in xml.

Spammers dont need your complete email address, there is a way they can send email to entire domains email accounts by using wildcard characters instead of user names.
    like: *@yourdomain.com

I get spam like that all the time.
