    flipmoV2 completed

    Hi Guys,

    Its taken me a while but its finally completed. My new portfolio;

    www.flipmo.co.uk

    I'm very pleased with it. The site will resize to whatever size your browser is (though there is a limit after which it gets pretty garbled), all movement is driven by actionscript and all content is generated by an external datasource.

    Hope you like it.

    Steven.

    Opening transitions were cool, unique animation and I like the little reflection shadows on your thumbnails.

    But.

    It's chugging along REAL slow on my Mac g5 osx safari browser. I clicked onto one thumbnail, then I couldn't get the rest of the thumbs to come back from the right. I gave up.

    Thanks for the nice feedback. I'm aware that it chugs a bit on the G5s and I'm looking into that. Code is fairly efficient, theres not much i can get back from that, it must be somewhere else...

    woah. theres something u dont see too often. very professional and nice. love the relfections and transitions.

    one thing tho. as mentioned above. for something really simple it takes a whole lot of processing to change between frames and stuff. maybe increasing the frame rate would help. u didnt make this at default 12fps rite lol?
