width&height of externally loaded pics?

Hi

Anyone know how to do this?
I know i tell width and height with BitmapData, but in order to make this work i believe i first have to get the picture loaded and drawn with the .draw function...

Any ideas? Again: just need to load external pictures and tell the width and height..
