My gosh. It gets better every visit. I wonder what the re-design will look like.

If they dont release it on the 1st, they'll definately release it on the 6/06/06.

    And, now, nothing's clickable anymore.

Thank goodness, I really don't think their web site was ever any good. It's a bit slow, full of geeky/annoying tweens, tiny text that you can't read and no version for partially sited or blind people to use. Seriously, it has an "ENTER" screen; last time I used that was when I was 13.

Everyday they are adding something new to the source. I can't wait for 2Advanced Studios to release the new look. Because every year their designs get better and better. So now what new technology are they going to push. Because when the red theme came out everyone was amazed in the 3D work. So this year what will we all be staying up late at night just to see the new work from 2Advanced Studios.

Well, to be honest, this is the first time I've looked at 2a in about 6 months. Their work is alright, but it's rather dated. It's about time that they do a redesign IMO. I think they need to move away from the more juvenile 'geeky' 'techy' 'fancy' look and more into a corporate appeal. Having the long load times and excessive tweens really just gets in the way with todays browsing.

    Thats just my opinion though.

Well, if you read any of 2A's stuff on the design of the site, I think once they said "we design for people with good vision". Computer Arts interview, I believe.

Anyway, this is a portfolio site to show off their skills as multimedia artist in a visual and sound medium. I don't think having a version for partially sited or blind people would apply to a site that's ABOUT visual images ... just a guess, ya know.

The site is what, three years old? Say what you will, this is a rather clever way of announcing a redesign. (note: I'm not a huge fan of v4's red design either).

I'm actually excited to see what they're coming up with from a pure web designer, visual media standpoint. FI has taken over for me as the leaders in Flash design, but before that it was 2A. Only thing is, I can't download the wallpapers now until they put the "fire" out :P

Yeah whats FI? Also is it me or something or does anyone notice this. Everytime you go or reload 2Advanced does it look more and more damaged? Because today I reloaded the page and it looks more damaged. Well someone has to put the fire out because their was a main over load in the system and their was a gas leak. Maybe we can expect a update tomorrow because tomorrow is June 1st. And they might just let us know what's going on.

Hats off, for this idea...I mean, usually you'd find an 'under construction' splash page or some sort.....but this, is totally well thought of.....darn if only I thought of it first....

tiny text ... I think that's the style they're going for. Again, their style is more futuristic. I can read the text, and I don't have great eye sight.

Keep in mind, their portfolio site is not a universal portal site. It's to highlight their design skills. 14px fonts are not part of their design set (in this case).

Always keep things within their context.
