i still don't really understand on what we are to base our vote? is this just 'pick a random name'?

You supposed to make a guess on who's gangster and try to kill them (not me), you can judge by seeing their votes against other people (and emotion in real life).

On the other hand if you're the gangster, you need to wipe the other team (3 villagers, 1 police, 1 doctor). being a gangster you'll better off if you can kill the police first or doctor first, again by guessing on their votes and words they posted.

Police and doctor again have their special role, I believe Mecha has explained it before?

Anyway example post should be:

Hey everyone, I'm the police (up to everyone to believe him/her or not), I know <player name> is a gangster! (police got a chance each night to ask moderator whether certain person is a gangster or not, moderator will only give a 'yes' or 'no'). Please people let's vote him out!
at this point people might think you are doing reverse psychology, and might thought that you are the gangster, and then vote you out.
