    replacement for gotoAndPlay

basically I have a movie clip with 6 frames, first two have the code stop(); in them then 3-5 would just play, then 6 also has stop(); in it

I'm wondering if there is a way that when my event is called up it says go to next frame so that the first time the event is called it will go one frame then the time after that it will play till frame six. I hope this is worded well enough, if not I can elaborate....

    Thanks in advance,

nextFrame(); is used to advance the timeline one frame regardless of the event in the frame. If you have a tween, it will only play that first frame. (prevFrame(); reverses it).
