    Ok, now i'm pissed

    I haven't had any issue with the ugly ads here in the past and i've never been one to complain about them as i know they're a source of revenue keeping the site alive....

    but now i'm seeing Pop up flash ads?!?!?!?!? Ones that i can't even close!!@!!!OOENRONENORN!!! I had to refresh my screen just to get rid of it for a second...no 'close' button at all!

    What the hell is going on?

    Ive been getting a pop up as well. I have been able to close it though. LOL I don't even know what it said. All I remember is it is the same one and it is mainly blue.

    def not spyware. This is my work computer i'm seeing it on and i'm definitely spyware free. The ad was comign from IBM...but i'm also using adblock...maybe this was an error due to that eitherway...i'm still po'ed

    I saw one appear briefly at the top left of one of the pages I opened or refreshed. It went away soon after it appeared in much the same manner that the much-hated talking ad does before adblock catches and snuffs it. So for you guys who already have adblock set up to block certain urls, that might be the reason for it not showing up for most and only showing briefly for some.

    But yeah, having that kind of popup here is just not cool...

    There's the little bugger...

    It starts out like this...



    And ends up like this. It doesn't seem too disposed to go away on it's own, either. Not sure what I might be missing, but I can't find any way to close it. There is an invisible button in the upper left corner that opens another ad on top of it, which does have a close button. When you close that one though, the IBM one is still there beneath it. Pure advertising evil...
