New to the whole 3DFA(FLASH) web designing.

Well, it's basic... Got all the graphics set up & what not, but for some reason, the navigation buttons & pages just keep loopin' & loopin'... Am I doin' somethin' wrong? I checked the advanced options in the main UI, what else is there to do so that my pages don't keep loopin'...

Well.... the area right under the "export" and "play/stop" buttons right above where you can add a starting script and under the frames per second there should be a dropbar that has 4 options ....
    loop when finished
    restart when finished
stop when finished ------------thats the one you want
    stop until played

for more help go to "samples" then advanced then 3DFA menu

    hope this helps

Yeah, I've tried all the lil' advanced settings... Could it be that I HAVE to create or load the pages elsewhere rather than into the actual SWF file?

Yup, tried that also... LOLz... I used ALL the samples I could as references... I mean, I'm not OBLIVIOUS to web design. I'm quite familiar wit' HTML, as well as creating flash graphics... I just can't seem to stop the navigator from scrollin' into oblivian...

    Hi,

Try posting the source files in a zip file (Include graphics and things) and somebody should be able to give you some feedback.

    Cheers,

do you have the movie file so someone can look into it better and mess around with it? or so we can go into detail if any slight details are missing?

The zip link doesn't work. Try adding the "stop" action at the end of each scene if your using scenes.

    I just renamed the link...

I just renamed it... Thanks for the heads up Conn, but I already selected the "Stop when finished" option. I'm also not using multiple scenes... Everythin' else works GREAT on it, just can't stop that "Navigator" & "Pages" to stop scrollin' like that... I've tried to upload it, but it's too big & you're right, even after I renamed it, it's still not linkin' up Does anyone mind me e-mailin' it to them so they can take a look @ it & lemme know what's goin' on?

Are you using the HTML that gets generated by 3DFA, or did you write it yourself?

I'm pretty sure the HTML generated by 3DFA holds something about how the swf file loops.

Um, the 3dFA generated HTML, but then, I edit it manually afterwards to kills the loop effect, after I edit it, everything EXCEPT the navigator & pages work GREAT... It just cycles through the pages like it's havin' a seizure... LOLz...
