Button Problem
I have a problem with the buttons in a flash movie I have been working on. The problem is that in order to edit the buttons I have to right click them and select edit in place, if I try just clicking on the button it will run whatever action script it is suppose to. Is there any way to fix this? I'm using Flash 8 by the way in case that helps.

Are you going to the Test Movie panel menu and turning off the Play Simple Buttons

No the problem happern from within the stage.

Yes, I know but did you turn off the Play Simple Buttons. That has to be done and then you can edit without interference when you are on the stage.
Sorry, if you have done that and I am not understanding some other vital issue.

No I don't think I did that, but then again I've never had to.
