    You are right Chris.

I tried to detect a download cancel using php but apparently that doesn't work. Switching to the flash8 download class might be a good idea. I'll look into it.

I was never able to simply with php...pretty sure it's one of it's limitations. The benefit of the event handling to trigger actions with and then notify php she's done is perfect for just this type of scenario.

It took me much more time as I expected to implement it.
I hope it solves everything now. You are welcome to check it.
I had to make some changes to the code so if anything behaves in a strange way, please let me know.

Works exactly as it should here on IE and FF in WinXP. Nice implementation of the control Wilbert

I think it's fitting that our Exchange has to be exported as F8 and we are not worried about who can/can't access it. It's like I said in a few written articles...there are times when F8 has to be forced for the sake of the designers needs and obviously with so high a penetration rate (currently 86%) so fast we are not the only ones pushing the F8 player

This design NEEDED the functions of the F8 player and coding and I'm glad you opted to embrace it

    Thanks Chris.
I never used the download feature before, only the upload but it's nice you can monitor progress and cancel a download.

XareoX, clear the cache of your browser. Does that help ?

I already have an update (ver 1.14) that blocks duplicates. I'll wait to see how you want me to update the one I submitted.

    Nice work Chris !
I didn't apporove it yet since you mentioned you already have an updated version. I didn't know if you wanted the first version to be approved until you upload the new one or not. You can just post the new one.

Any chance you will include a menu to choose a transition ?
    (one can always ask )

Actually...when you save the xml...it creates the "MyShow.fun" file for you. It's just so users have an example of using the xml it creates. They can use the xml for anything really. I was just going to make it a xml creator and call it "backend buddy" but thought better of it and added an example slideshow

So yes...they can use the xml to populate any transitional show they build using "myShow.fun as an example of using the xml object.

I have the updated zip and I'll PM it to you right now.

Impressed as usual Chris! This is very nice work. Is the executable one you did with swf2exe from Northcode?

    Do you ever sleep?

    Sleeping right now

Yeah...that's SWF Studio and Koolmoves. Northcode is adding some new abilities and thats me testing a couple. LIke I just said to Wilbert....each program is addictive on it's own (Koolmoves and SWF Studio)...combined together.... It's just staggering the possibilities you have.

Only had a quick play, but that is so useful.

Nah...Stoke is miles beyond what I can generate. If it helps a few backends get built....great

I'll explain why I built it in the blogg and won't drone on here but it was a complete byproduct of something else I'm doing.

"Scary Maze game" seems to hide the mouse (using Opera and IE) when previewing on KoolExchange.
