Flash 8 has a motion blur effect???
Is this a rumour or does Flash 8 really have a motion blur effect? I've been searching for it and can't find anyhting and all the tutorials I've found were for coded movements.
Is it actually there or am I hearing things?
Cheers,

Hmm. Isn't "motion blur" is just a normal blur in one direction?

Nope tis a bit different. I know how to do it all manually but I was told that Flash could now automatically work out motion blurs, like After Effects does.

yes it has. ive experimented with it once. i think its in the frame properties options [i could be wrong]. when u use it it automatically creates blur FX of your pic for a period of frames. but the blur animations is slow as hell [from my comp anyway] so i never really use it no more.

Cool so I didn't imagine it!
I still can't find it though...seems well hidden.
I expect it made your comp slow as it's more for animations to be exported to movie files like .avi 's.

MX04 has it too
u can use it on .JPG as well

Here's where it is located in Flash 8, Olly.
