faster preloaders on newgrounds

I noticed something whilt posting somemovies on newgrounds.

It takes ages to load!! Even small files.

Is there anyway i can make the preloader load the file faster on newgrounds?

Help would be appreciated..thnx

That is because they have tons of people all eating their bandwidth, nothing you can do about it besides optimize your file size.

so your saying there is no way of making a faster loading preladoer?

Probably not. There's nothing about a preloader that says "load slow" or "load fast". If even small file sizes load slowly on newgrounds, it's probably something wrong with newgrounds. If you have another spot you can upload your file to and test it, that would be the way to tell.

Is there a way to compress the flash file and songs and everything in my movie to make it faster on newgrounds?

If your using Flash 8...I don't know of any good optimizers but if your using Flash 7, then Etima makes a program called "Flash Optimizer" which works wonders on file sizes.
