    The lost .com

    *sigh*

Flashcarnival.com. I had forgotten. But coming back to Flashkit has brought back the memories. I had this beatiful website that was getting a good amount of traffic on it, choc-ful of animations by yours truly. And what did I do? Let the domain name expire! I didn't even hang on to the local copies of the files as I changed computers a few times. Sheesh.

Did I happen to pass on any of my souce files to anyone six years ago? I know it's a long shot... But maybe....

how good could it have been if it was made six years ago?

Good is all relative. Let's just say I was getting job offers from that site that I considered to be satisfactory, as opposed to being paid 50$ to do 16 hours of work.

Yea, but how long would it take, and how much better would it be if you recreate it with the newer version of flash(and 6 years more experience).

Wouldnt a 6 year old design look a little outdated to be using for self promotion?

    50$ to do 16 hours of work?!1
Are you making shoes in a hut with a bunch of little asian girls?

Sybersnake: I know dat! I am fully aware of the sillyness of the situation. To be honest, at the time, I was completely fed up with the entire internet and thought I would never again go online ever ever. And that is why I let it go up in smoke.

All I have to do now is get re-inspired and make new stuff. Yesss... yesSsSs... Muhahahaha!

Well random, I was making e-cards back then for 50$ a pop. But yes, a newer modern look would be good. Now I am using Flash MX 2004 Professional.

I think most people would be ashamed to show some of the stuff were making in flash that long ago.

    Thanks.

I feel like I just moved to another planet with being out of the loop for so long. Now all this new stuff is so...new. Well, I hope I get inspired bigtime to catchup.
