I was a heavy poster here a while ago, but changed my forte from Flash and other languages to being a student at the Art Institute. I'm LOVIN the images here and think I can really learn a lot from some of you. New to the battle scene, but no noob to photoshop.

*Under 700x600
*rotation ok
*up to 2 people may return
*use element from last volley
*turnaround time 1-2 weeks, but lets keep this going.

Im really liking the selective colouring on this one.
Overlays are good too, but the edges could have been cleaned up and softened a little more, they look a bit "stencled" right now...
Personal nit-pick, I would have had a darkened sky but, thats just me.
Good job, I'll be watching this one - hope some one steps up soon.

the girl is good, i think her alone on a plain backgroun, with more "tattoos" would have been better off, def clean up the edges on the flowers.

Gasbag, I like how you did the text in your image although maybe a little but less opacity on the checkered overlay would look good.

yeh my monitor is abit bright so i can't see details like that.
sorry bout the dimension size, didn't realise, i just copied the serve into PS and used to same canvas, not sure how the size changed :S

actually yeh, the serve is only 525px wide, I thought the dimensions looked a bit off to be 600x700

I just realised the rules state UNDER 600x700 so I guess the image dimension wasn't wrong after all.

looks good GB but I think you could have masked the tree a little better (especially where it is against the blue sky) and tried to make it blend in with the rest of the image.

Phix, I like how you did the text in this image. It looks very good.

I do agree though that this image lacks some texture as well as some cohesiveness. The elements in the image dont tie together or fit together and it is hard to see what the theme or message of this image is.

Dri- I was goin for the idea that "nature" is a little hard to find nowadays, you have to drive a little ways to be "in nature"... I spose I could add more text or something to convey that. I'll keep playing with it.
