"Can not open a protected movie"

    Hi,

When I try to publish my flash file - I get the error message:
"Can not open a protected movie"

What does this mean? What should I do?

    Thanks so much!

You may be trying to publish to a location that's protected (CD, read-only file, etc.).

Check your path to see where you're publishing and look for an existing swf there...

    Hope that helps!!

    Thanks flashpipe1

But that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Are you trying to open a swf, which is protected?
