    Freelance payment methods

I am new to all this freelancer thing and am working on becoming one but i would like to learn as much as i can about it before i dive into. So i have a question

Let's say you work for an international client (like you probbably often do) and it's payment time. How do you receive your money, i suppose mostly through paypal but what are other payment options? I am asking this because i live in country which is unfortunatelly not on paypal list due it's stupid financial laws so this is unavailable to me. What are my other options, are there any similar available services?

    Thanks,
    cheers

Cashier's check. Regular check by certified mail. Money transfer.

Also, I hear many good things about E-Gold. I've never used it myself, but hear it's all the rage in anonymous payment methods.

escrow services are good for larger amounts.

or a straight swift back transfer from account to account.

There's also the option of signing up with a merchant so that you can process credit cards. I offered this method for several years at one point.

Depending on how much money you pull in regularly, this could be worth the hassle.
