    loop problem

    <br> in XML creating problem.
    can anyone fix it??

    hi,

    please use the XML document i have attached. please always run your XML in IE after creating it.

    Another thing is that you are using <br> in attributes values. dat was reason of error in XML doc. if you want to use tags or special characters use CDATA as i have used in attached doc.

    But In Text Box It Is Showing Simple Baljit<br>grewal (showing Grewal In Same Line)

    My Text Box Is Html Type And I M Using Textboxname.htmlText = Variable

    Your xml is malformed. First of all it has to be <br/>. Then you cannot have these characters in your XML. As inder_s2010 indicated always check your file in a browser, not necessarily IE, though

    Now replace desc="Baljit<br/>Singh" with desc="Balji%3Cbr%2F%3ESingh"

    You get this code by using escape in flash:
    trace (escape ("Balji<br/>Singh"));

    When you want to actually use it to display in a textbox use unescape:
    myText.html = true;
    myText.htmlText = unescape (this.firstChild.childNodes[2].attributes.desc);
