actually no let me try and make it simple in the over section of my button i have placed a movie clip, when someone rolls over it the movie plays however i would like the movie to play backwards to return the button to its original state when someone moves off it if that makes any sence

if im getting right this time, say you have a gree button, if you roll over it, it turns red, when you roll off it, it goes back to green, is that right???

In that case you just need to edit the buttons over state!

Please let me know if this is what you want
