can not export to quicktime

I am using Flash MX 2004, trying to export a very simple movie to .mov format. I keep getting an error when I try and publish and it will not make the file. It says "an error has occurred because a required Quicktime component could not be found" or something like that. I have searched the forum and found many posts claiming that setting publishing settings to Flash 5 or earlier would work, but it does NOT work for me.

Does anyone know what to do?
