    Visiting Seattle

    Planning to go to Seattle for around 2 weeks sometime in Feb next year... But apparently I took it for granted that around here we can find cheap accomodation easily (stay in, etc). So I'm kinda lost now on where to stay =S

    Any idea?

    Hah. I just got back from there (9/14-9/18).

    No idea where you're from, but I found parts of Lynnwood much like OC - lots of brand new development, mid/high end stores, clean, easy.

    We stayed down in Seattle / University district, University Tower hotel - looked better online, but it wasn't bad, and it was actually incredibly convenient. Easy to get into downtown for touristy crap, but across the lake, which gets you closer to Lynnwood (where we actually drove for lunch/dinner, just because of the familiarity). It was cheaper than I expected, but I'm not sure what sort of budget you're looking for...

    You could stay with my sperm donar, whom I haven't seen in hmmm 11 years. I promise I won't tell him you are coming. Actually nm, but if you don't mind could you throw a flaming paper bag full of dog poo at his front door for me .
