    taking the audio from SWF

    Hi.
I'm recreating a project from a bunch of SWFs and I don't have the original FLAs. Is there a good way to extract the audio from the SWFs so I can re-build the animation?

some decompilers will give you any embeded audio. I hear So Think is a decent one.

However, and this is what I believe the general 'position' on using decompilers, when used for looking at OTHER peoples .swf's it is frowned upon. Usually just an email to the creator/owner or a post here with a question of how it was done will get you the same result (or better), so there is no need to 'steal' anyones hard work.

This is not to you specifically, I give the same 'rant' to anyone asking about decompliers

Thanks for the the info. I'll give it a try. I'm working for a company where the person previously working on the project years ago lost all original FLA's.
