    A simple gotoAndStop is failing me.

    Can someone please look at my swf file and tell me why the One Player button doesn't change to the second frame of the scene when clicked. I have tried so many different things and nothing seems to work.

    EDIT: Fixed the link and forgot to add that I am using Flash Professional 8.

    The correct and safest way to 'gotoAndStop' or Play in a movie, with our without Scenes, is to use labels instead of Frame numbers and/or Scene names, and specify which timeline you are targetting.

    example:

    _level0.gotoAndStop("someLabel");

    this.gotoAndStop("someLabel");

    _parent._parent.gotoAndStop("someLabel");

    etc.
