Fantastic Four 2
The first one was surprisingly good. It helped that I went in with very low expectations.
Silver Surfer should get his own movie anyway so maybe this is a decent vehicle.

I used to like the Silver Surfer.. but got bored with the story line when I was a kid. (more of an 'x' universe geek)
I see the Marvel movies as somewhat of a hit & miss..
X-men: good movies..but hype out weighed the end result in the final film(s)
FF: good so far.
SpiderMan: good so far
Daredevil: not so good
Hulk: not so good
Punisher: not so good..
I think the comic need a nice fan base for it succeed.
Captain America would do good I think..(if it stays away form the early Batman movie 'type' set/theme)
How long can the FF go on? Did they have any notable enemies? (besides DD, and some stupid Mole Man chars?) LOL
Has D.C. done anything? I thought Superman was a joke..
update:
watched trailer... WTF? when did SS get powers to 'go through objects' like that? I wonder if Galactus will be in this somewhere/how?

Saw the Ghost Rider trailer before Rocky the other night. Looked interesting.
p.s. Will J. Alba be showing some more skin in this one?

I think Batman Begins is by far my favorite screen translation yet.
Spiderman 1&2 are a close second.
Captain America would be interesting, but would have a weird prudence today. Who would he fight? My script would have him attacking capitol hill.

ok..Batman Begins escaped my memory... and is the ONLY DC comic to screen I can think of that worked.
as far as Capt. America.. now it could be IRAQ or Al-Queda...
I think for the most part.. people watch these movies for:
a.) to see the same story lines they read in the comics.
b.) to see the visual representation displayed on film of their favorite super hero's power.

I go because I love fantasizing about what it would really be like. I love believability. But in the end, the only reason the director has a job is because someone wrote the comic book originally. Who the hell is a director to say what should be changed? If they have so many good ideas, they should write their own damn comic.

agreed-
probably THE biggest hang-up for me about X-Men movies..
there was hardly ANY adhering to the storylines of the comic books...and in most cases.. they just 'mushed' storylines together.... (totally out of chronological order even) (spit)
I think the HUMAN TORCH 'effects' has been one of the best 'effects' to date.. looks goodand matches originality.
Michael Chiklas in F2 (as the THING) as well? (I love the Shield)

ok... Silver Surfer was the dude for me to show off my drawing skills when I was doing comic book style drawing in the day.
And honestly... I thought I would hate any mention of the Silver Surfer in any modern day movie. But dammit... I'm interested in seeing this... but after how they destroyed Dr. Doom... my hopes are so low, this will be only a matinee flick for me.

I wonder if he will be 100% computer generated the whole movie?
supposedly one bad mo' fo'..but still..not something I thought would be introduced into the FF.. I hope theres a plot for him being here? (only thing that comes to mind is Galactus)

He was in the first too.
The friend who sent me the link says they're really going cosmic with this one and Galactus is supposed to make an appearance.

Bringing Galactus into it... a risky move.
They need Samuel L. Jackson as the voice of Galactus...

hmm..what could bring the SS to earth if NOT the big "G"?
Im still disappointed that 'whats his face' (topher grace) is playing VENOM..
Any other Big Super groups that movie could be made of? We got FF and the X-men...
I suppose the Avengers? and JLA/SuperFriends on a DC side...
I thought I had read there was to be an IronMan movie?? (anyone?)

Wha!?
Even after seeing the trailer? Who would you have cast?

Mom said "make me a Mod"
"Fantastic Four" was really good, nice visuals, good actors except for Mr. Rubber Bands, he seemed dazed all the time, like he walked in on the wrong set or something, and it was a shame to Make Jessica Alba Invisible IMO she should have been more Visible if anything
Superman was not worth the cellulide they printed it on.
X-Men I liked it a lot, although the storyline was totally blotched, and it ended prematurely and could have gone a few more rounds without losing it's momentum thanks to an array of superheroes and super villains, now if they ever decide to make another part it'll be Matrix Reloaded all over again, starting from a Full Stop, calling for the audience as they're about to leave the theater.
Spiderman, Now if it weren't for "Toffee McGuire" with his lack of enough testosterone to fill in a super heroes suit, I'd enjoy it, the visuals in part one were not that good, some CG scenes were screaming I'm an ATI Radeon 7500 and that's the best I can do,
plus Toffee McGuire, No Way he can be a super hero, slab a blond hair piece on him and let spider man save him from a tall burning building instead
the villains were quite OK though
Batman, too many directors to even consider them as a series, plus the let's get a new actor each time loses loads of the credibility, I expect to see a Batman version staring Jim Carey as the masked knight and George Clooney as the Penguin resurrected or something :TOTAL BLEH:

as much as i hate to say this, toby mcguire is the real life version of peter parker. they were both pansies.
anyways this is his last moving, they are going to have a new spiderman i believe for spiderman 4
Also captain america already had a movie. http://imdb.com/title/tt0103923/ i was really young when it came out but i enjoyed it back in the day.
