    Browser ignores 'Anti-alias for readability'

I am using a font that probably most users will not have installed on their computers. All the text is dynamic and all dynamic text fields have the font embedded and are set to 'Anti-alias for readability'. When I open the swf directly the text looks nice and crisp.

    But:
As soon as I open it with a browser the text looks like it would with 'Anti-alias for animation'. Blurred.

    Why?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Are you positive that you have the latest flash player installed in your browser? The font rendering methods are only applicable for flash 8 or higher.

yeah, i think I've even got the Flash Player 9...
I've switched to a pixel font instead.
    Not really a solution, though.

    Thanks for your reply anyway.
