    how to name a movieclip?

    Hello, this is a complete noob question but... how do I name the movieclip for the following function

    movieclip._visible = true/false

    I'm loading in menu.swf say for example. And I need to hide the movie but it requires the movie name...

    You select the movieclip on the stage and then you type the name that you want into the Instance Name box on the properties panel.

    I'm not that hard to imitate. Just make some random negative claim at Apple or anything else for that matter and then have nothing to back it up.
