LARGE bitmap images?

I've seen a few site recently that use very large bitmap images in Flash. The images are excellnt quality and load very quickly. Any tips on this?

I've seen products like Zoomify that I supose wotk by streaming images. BUt what about sites that start off with huge images?

I'm taking a wild guess here (just a guess, that these images might be loading to Flash from an external folder that is stored in a database. I'm notthat good with Flash to understand it's full capabilities.) I do know there are a few ways you can do this. My suggestion is to contact the people that did this site and find out from them. From what I understand people love to get complimented on how they achieved a certain look and most are pleasant enough to answer. Good luck!
