    why why! images from PS pixelated if resized

    I bring in images from PS

    .png (need transparency)

    when I resize, the image .. i even brought in 300DPI

    it gets all pixelated!

    Because Flash resizes the images, it doesn't resample them. You might try setting _quality="best" in the movie.

    Flash isn't an image editor. You should Always optimize and scale your images in PS before importing them! Size them exactly as you need, then use PS's "Save For Web" function to knock the file size down as low as you can get it. This will help your pages load as fast as possible. Very important!
