100k is about the size of a image (which of course will vary according to size and quality). so I would say thats no too bad.

is the FLV in the SWF or are you loading it externally?

ive got a fla im working on, this (atm) has only 1 frame: a website

the layer over the top of this an intro that plays then "reveals" via alpha the site.

this intro is some stock video i have got, converted to flv, and imported into flash library and dragged on to the stage. in the library the video calls itself "FLVPlayback" and a "complied clip"

in short: i dont know!.... help

    hope this makes sense?! :S

IF the flv is embedded in the SWF, I dont think you need to upload the the video. only the SWF. Give it a try and see if it works.
