advertisements that can´t be blocked with adblock because they are deeply embedded within the flash movie itself. The idea is to earn the money even if you dont host the movie on your own server (counts esspecially for the ones you didn´t even upload yourself [hint: grabbing swf, stealing movies )

He could also use it to offer plenty of money to an NGO. It would look even nicer ^^

Lol, my comment about mochi ads was actually a joke, but then again, I don't think I would be able to resist if I was getting 340 plays a second.. you do realise you would make a years wages in a few days!! (I can't have done those calculations right...surely )

Every time the advert's viewed, you get slightly richer.
Wait, i already saw mochi-added games, but... really, you don't need to click those? Just view them and it counts as a "standard banner click"?

As far as I understand it. Why else would they have Terms & Conditions that state that you mustn't obscure the advert (maybe so that you couldn't make people accidentally click on it, but that's unlikely)?

Yes most of them are per view although some are per click. You get about $100 per 200,000 views. Thats over $14,000 a day for you .

Well, actually you need to click (maybe not all ads though?).

In the accounts, there's a "page impressions" and a "eCPM".
I tried to launch the game myself, it's showing "page impressions: 1" and "eCPM:0". The ad was a Firefox ad, and you had to click it (mouse = hand)

    mmhh...

^ and if that kind of amount was involved daily, DAMN, i should be able to work all day on that game, pay the people that are helping me and... take some holidays

Allilm says that some of them are pay per view, though. Don't give up hope!

after reading a bit about MochiAds, I think you might be still in review status, which means you will be served not-for-profit ads (hence the eCPM of 0), until you go live properly.

Yes, some are per click, but it still comes to roughly $100 per 200k hits. You dont get any money until mochi ads has checked your game. Make sure the game profile is complete first or they wont check it (that includes a thumbnail). Once thats done it shouldnt take long for you to be getting rich.

    [EDIT]
Oh, and seeing as I recommended you.. I think I deserve 10%, don't you? just kidding. I just hope you don't crash mochi ads or something

    [/EDIT]

    [/EDIT]
Who knows, maybe i'll finally be able to enjoy my Xbox 360 a bit? Finally...

Well, i noticed that there's a crazy traffic during specified hours; so far the next 10 hours will be really quiet (minijuegos players are sleeping at this time ). And the sunday, i'm not sure...

ChaseNYC, is the game still loading slow? crappy attempt to make you load the mochi-ad

Marmote your webserver still seems to be crawling along (all assets loading slow, not just the game).

And to help give you a traffic boost just gave your site the thumbs up and wrote a little review on stumbleUpon.com.

Uhm, regarding the Mochiads: maybe you guys need to consider that Mochiads' advertisers don't have unlimited budgets. If paying ads run out you won't receive any more money. (at least that has been the case in recent months, while they are still in beta)

I hope you won't insert the ads Marmotte, as that would probably mean that almost all paying ads will go to your game, and hardly any will be left for mine.

Mochiads have been awesome for me though, highly recommended for all developers.

someone like Marmotte having a massively successful game which used MochiAds, would only strengthen MochiAds sales team, meaning more sweet, sweet money for all in the future
