    Lip-Syching Options

    Hello All-

I need to create one of those tacky cartoon "chararacters" in Flash that talks to you and eyes follow your mouse pointer. I am very new with lip syncing in Flash and wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of any third party tools that make this process easier or ones to avoid?

In my brief research I have found sitePal (dislike the yearly fee), Vocalise TTS and Toon Boom Studio.

    Any opinions?

Toon Boom Sucks Entirely!!!, If you are used to the Macromedia/Adobe GUI then other tools will all seem to pale in comparison!!!

Make your own lip sync using flash. It will be more creative and different from what anyone else can make because YOU CREATED IT.

I've got a simple dialogue here under Downloads to take a look at http://members.shaw.ca/megatoon/

If you have alot of dialogue you can take abit of a short cut by looping some phenomes.
-Create a new graphic symbol place E,A, & Consonant
-Place it on the main layer -right click-convert to key frame
-all you need to do now is replace the O, U & L's as well as you stops in speech
