    making stock photo site

    been browsing other thread and Black_phenix suggested this site for someone.

    im trying to make similar site with downloadable photographs, like squidfingers, but dont know where to start.

    Does anyone have a link or tute to go about making a photo stock site like this (dream8 preferred)

    should be pretty straight forward, get some good pictures and build a site. I would look at other stock photo sites out there and see how they do it. I stock is a nice example

    hi, thanks for stopping by. i should have been more specific.

    i'd like to know how they are able to click on page numbers and only the gallery changes page and not the whole webpage refresh. Is there an option in Dream8 that allows me to do that? sorry it seems like a "doh!" question but i really dont have a clue

    sorry, now i see it refreshes the whole page, i dont know what i was thinking :P there is also another question though,

    how do they add new photos so it becomes on the first page and the older photos get pushed back to the later pages (automatically presumably). I think it has something to do with database !!?? Am i able to build this type of update-able site using only Dreamweaver?

    dude professional websites aren´t created with just Dreamweaver!
    learning some php or ASP- would cover most of your questions. Nobody wants to edit and change all stock photos manually- that´s why people invented php and such.

    yea, my background isnt from IT so im pretty much clueless about it But thanks for the answer, ill look into it.
