Unload Movie

Hi,

From 'Caching SWF files for Faster Movies' tutorial, it is mentioned that using the UNLOAD MOVIE function deletes the loaded movie from the browser cache.

Is this true or did it meant something else? coz I have tried using the Unload Movie function but the swfs remained in the browser's (IE5) cache (c:/windows/temporary internet files/).

hey,

You use the unloadMovie command to remove a loaded movie from another flash movie.It does not allow you access to someone's hardrive.

Maybe we'll see that feature in Flash 6
