    Streaming Servers

    Hi, just one simple question. I want to place one simple video (FLV) in my website, is it necesary to set up a streaming server to do that?

    no. unless it's really important that it is streamed, there is no need. Upload it to your normal web server as a progressive download. Given that flash anywhere requires a fairly fast connection, the difference between the speeds of each appears to be negligible anyway. A streaming server will cost you a fair bit so it's surely not worth it for 1 vid.
