How do I make a Video MPU?

Hi Flashers,

Got a couple of questions for ya.

I need to pitch for doing some video MPU banners and need to know, well how to make them.

First of all if I want them to be video MPU's do I need to stream the video or progressive download or even inbed it in the swf.

Will I also need a special flash video server for storing the videos or can I just wack them on my normal server?

Any help and advice is most welcome.

and you can either embed or stream the video..

an mpu is a 300x250 banner

and i need to know the best and moste effictive way to display the video

most effective is up to you.. on how (in the end and future) will the video be updated?..

I am huge fan of using DYNAMIC content.. (external)

you can load movie.mpg (or whatever video formats Flash supports) into a movieClip or holder..and preload it before it plays.. or have it stream..and i will pay as soon as there is video loaded to display.

this way..once you make your movie.. all you need to do is replace the movie.mpg (or rename ANY video to that name.) and it will use the new video..
