auto scale table background image?

How can you auto scale a table background image so it fits into the table.

Lets say you have a table width="120" height="90" and a background image thats allot bigger and you want to auto scale the image so it will display the image completely in the table.

sorry, that can't be done, not with css2 anyways. I would try something else instead. Sometimes a centered, single image with a background color will make a better solution.
