Some FLVs play audio but not video in IE

-- Using Flash 8 Video Encoder (with ON2's codec) to generate the flvs. They play fine in Firefox. But the video does not display (though the audio does play) in my video player when embedded in IE 6 and 7 on windows xp sp2.

-- someone else who used Sorensen's video encoder (which i assume uses the previous Sorensen Spark codec) - these flvs display fine in my video player when embedded in IE 6 and 7.

I seem to be running the latest Flash plugins on both machines i am testing on - though I am not sure the best way to test this. It does seem like a video codec issue?

The way to test what version of the plug-in you're using is to go to any page that contains Flash and right click on the Flash movie. The menu that comes up will say "About Flash Player" and have a version number. The symptom you're describing is pretty common when viewing a Flash 8 .flv with Flash 6 or 7.
