$499 US is not bad at all ( upgrading from MM studio 8 )

You get dreamweaver, fireworks, flash, photoshop extended, illustrator and a couple of other things.

Sheesh lucky I can upgrade from Studio 8. I'll probably won't get it for a long while though. Studio 8 still does the job for me. As does CS2. With the stacks of cash your making though Squzie mind getting me a copy?

Even the student pricing is still fairly outrageous.

Thing is, I'm gonna have to upgrade because Flash 8 is pretty much broken; I need CS3's new UI, since they screwed up my current one.

So, how many people plan to purchase soon, and how many people bought a PS3 and thus have no money?

I'm just gonna make do with Flash 9 Public Alpha. Even though it kills me to use it, AS3 is the only feature I needed from CS3.

Also noticed there's no trial available on the Adobe website. Things have changed since Macromedia got bought; my friend's worrying that he won't be able to steal it any more.

I upgraded today. The new live chat help is perfect. You could now get online support if you have any questions when order products.

I like the new interface. Though I found I still have to code with FlashDevelop.

'Collapse to icons' is a nice change to save space. And less memory it using (only 4M-12M for Flash.exe).

Compile speed still not so fast.

Not sure how to work with Apollo without Flex Builder 2 yet (I don't like to work with command-line).

actually they said the trials will be out in 6 to 8 weeks from the official release.....probably to keep their sales up by not allow people to download and quickly crack/distribute the apps at the same time of official release.....
