    I'm loving the vectors.....

[constructive crit feel free to ignore]

the chess piece is just perfect, the additional vectors add great motion, the bubbles are visually interesting and by that i mean good interesting not i can't fathom whats going on interesting.

only area i would say needed more time spent on it is the typography, maybe needs a bolder approach to such a stunning image, as it gets lost in such an strong image.

can't wait to see what gerbick does with this...

Thanks for the crit 1'stbite. The text was added as an afterthought, I was going to put the classic 'Vs' in there, but decided against it at the last minute.
I guess that comes through with my choice of placement.

Thanks for the comments guys. Appreciated, you have no idea.

I can not wait to see what you post Gerbs! Been looking forward to this for a while now.

I like it, very artistic. But as a chess player something seems to be missing.

thats absolutely stunning. I think thats my favourite volley of yours ever, and definatly of this year on these boards.

Can't find falut with anything really, I love the colours, composition, everything. Maybe just make the text a little clearer...the green is quite hard to read, and the black "horse power" bit maybe a little bolder to stand out more?

Other than that it's perfect...Can you make it 1280 x 1040 for my work desktop???

Beautiful image, Natsia. The chess piece looks like solid work to me- I'm not very experienced with vectors. Mostly, I'm very pleased with your coloring. I think they are balanced very well. I'd like to know, being interested in pursuing vector work as well as increasing my productivity and breaking technological limitations, do you use a tablet? I'm so close to convincing myself to pick up a Wacom Graphire and I just cannot bring myself to it before I have some trustful input. I don't mean to hijack but I'm very interested. I can't begin to fathom what it would take to do such work with only a mouse.

    I dont have a tablet.
You should ask gerbs, pea and Creativeinsomnia that question. I know gerbs uses a tablet on quite a few of his vector elements.
I like using my mouse, played on a friends tablet once, and its just didnt have the same feel or control, probably because I'm not used to working with one. I'd kill for a tablet for paint brushing though!
