Flash 8 - simple playback speed question

Hi when i embed my wmv video in a movie playing at 30 fps it plays too fast - at 12fps it plays too slow - is there a surefire way of calculating the exact fps so it play at the right speed ?

ok scratch that - I just figured out i need to use an flv file loaded into a player swf

this works ok when i open the player swf directly in the browser - however, when i open the player swf in a parent swf the flv doesn't load into the player

what could be the reason for this ?

your target is probably wrong. If you use root anywhere in your player swf then the destinations are going to point to the parent. That may be the reason.
