    [F8] transition effect

    HI,

    Anyone can tell me how this transition effect is done in moving thumbs, heres the link you can see a sample

    Hi,

    It's node in a few stages. Essentially there is a wipe transition which can be achieved by growing a box across the stage and using it as a mask.

    The second part is then just a white bar that moves along with the box.

    The last part is on every frame of the movie during the transition small squares are placed on the screen and given a random trajectory and distance to travel, which they then do.

    dmonkey,
    I'm not sure how to do the squares moving effect, they r always thick near the white bar.if i put random squares moving it doesnt seem similar
