store .as file on my web server

Hi - can I store .as files on a web server so that our distributed developers can share resources?

.as files are included in your fla at compile time ... if u want them to be able to simply download the .as files, then yes you can store them on your server (just as u can store any other type of file on your server)

    Hi. Thanks for the response.

We used to have a local network, and a shared drive with the fla's and the as files.

Rather than have an active directory or some other thing - it would be great if flash could access the internet while compoling the fla from a combination of remote and local as files....

    oh well...
