This is enough to sway my vote...

Politicians that have received money from the RIAA... list right here...

Orrin Hatch was already suspect when he started talking about music piracy; and then released his own music. Which sucked.

But Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Trent Lott (he's still in politics!?)...

I really enjoy forgetting. When I first come to a place, I notice all the little details. I notice the way the sky looks. The color of white paper. The way people walk. Doorknobs. Everything. Then I get used to the place and I don't notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is.

    Again, why?

Not trying to be partisan or start an argument, I'm just curious as to what it is about him and his campaign that attracts you two.

Giuliani's been my "hero" if you will for years and years now. He represents what this country needs right now - a moderate who can bring the people together after all of the recent division. The reforms he did in New York City are impeccable, and the results speak for themselves. He understands the threat confronting the country. He's a principled guy who say what he thinks and not dance around questions. He's a fiscal conservative. There are a ton of reasons I support him -- I don't vote for people because of their position on social issues. I vote for people who represent small government, fiscal conservativism, and who understand the threat facing the Western world. He's also the only Republican candidate that I think can actually win the general election. People aren't going to come out in droves to vote for McCain or Romney, that's for sure.

So you appreciate that he's a adulterer, as well as his policies in NYC were quite controversial?

You seriously need to pick a better "hero". One that actually doesn't treat his mistress to nice things on taxpayers money perhaps.

    And that's a start.

Guliani? From what I hear, he cites the NY tragedy in nearly every debate. He needs to get himself something else to stand on aside from that. I'm sure many others could have managed the situation better than him. (ie, why put the command centre in the 2nd tower after the first was hit?)

From what I've heard, those in NYC don't like him much at all - especially a few firemen and policemen. He's kind of like Romney, where the people he actually governed wouldn't vote for him.

I'm curious about Ultima's support especially since Rudy is so liberal on so many social issues; I find it weird that someone who worked for Santorum would be for Rudy.

I'll tell you now that odds are pretty good that in a few months, Santorum will endorse Mayor Giuliani. Giuliani did a lot of stumping for us during the campaign, and him and Santorum are very, very close.

Most of the people I've met from NYC love him, but I would be hard-pressed to say that I know nearly enough people from New York City to judge. All that I can look at it are his approval ratings during his term, which were certainly favorable:

    .
well not everybody is going to love him, but from what I have heard nyc loves him by and large. I guess it depends on the circles you travel in.

Howcome? She is surely pro-feminism, but a lot of what she advocates would be nice to see in society. If nothing else it would make for a change.

Honestly man, I would vote for her in Canada as well. The thing that we need in both countries is some drastic change or political revolution to make things fresh again. At least in Canada, all political parties in power amount to the same thing, and nothing really changes.
