    Hi...

Is it possible to easily give a button a 3D bevelled edge in flash in the same way you can in photoshop?

    thanks

Just bevel the button in photoshop and use the resulting image as button in Flash (import bitmap).
The disadvantage: the flash file size gets bigger that with vector graphics...

You could do them in Adobe Illustrator along with KPT Vector Effects which comes with a lot of filters in numerous categories.

It's pretty cool seeing that it keeps everything in vector format that you can easily bring into Flash.

Be warned though.....the filters take some practice to get them to do what you want.
