[F8] need help with a health bar please?

I've actually received help on this by someone else but now we're both stumped.

I'm trying to make a little mini shooter game but i want the health increments to go down by 5's. Every time guya gets shot 5 times he looses a heart. But it's not working. he'll loose two hearts after ten shots, but 15 shots and the second lost heart comes back, 20 it's gone, 25 it's back. help please?

you'd have to click "download" on the left hand side to view, only cause when i tried to attach it flashkit said it was too big.

the glitch is on the blue rubberband/shot.
