    Object reflection with 3D/perspective

Hi, Would anyone have tips on how to design the reflection to an object presented with 3D/perspective? I'm not talking about just putting the duplicate image flipped vertically under the original and applying a gradient like with a 2D image, it has to be in a sort of 3D environment.

    Thanks!

It should just be a matter of distorting it into the proper perspective. If you posted the image you are working with it would be easier to give specific suggestions.

Well, it's not so much the image/object, but rather the surface that the reflection will be projected upon that makes for the questions. One of the best ways to study reflections is to take a look at images that include water and some objects that reflect back towards the viewer.

Well i'm starting a full flash website and the images are required to have a reflection. I have just seen some examples so far and there will be things like bottles or pots next to each others in a perspective. Hope that helps!

I thought you weren't looking for standard duplicating and flipping techniques. But whatever, glad you found what you wanted.

I was not against flipping technique but it was for object with perspective. If you look at the tutorial with the can for example, there's some distortion to do. That is what I'm looking for! I haven't tried the tutorials yet but hopefully it will be fine! Cheers
