How can I embed player controls in a SWF video?

I know how to convert MOV to FLV files, which a separate SWF file calls, and that SWF has the controls (play, volume, etc) in it, but i want to make a standalone swf file that doesn't need to call a separate FLV file and has the controls built in.

Basically, I have a file called demo_video.flv, that by itself plays a 30 second video without any player controls. There's another file called demo_player.swf that calls the FLV file, and adds a controller overlay. Normally this would be a good way to go, since you can change the player control skin later on, but I need everything in one stand-alone SWF file.

I'm using Flash Video MX. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm pretty new to using Flash Video. I have previously been using Sorenson Squeeze for this.

This screenshot shows what I'm trying to achieve with just one SWF file, with no additional FLV files being called.
