My sister would laugh in my face. I will see how big my refund check is this year for my financial aid at school. If I have anything left after paying all my bills off I might splurge on myself...

That thing packs a little punch- 5mp right? I think with those older high end cameras it is quality over quantity(well now too...)

One of my favorite photobloggers actually shoots with the old eos 1d classic with 4mp.

Btw, has anyone seen the new T200: http://www.sonystyle.ca/html/multime...tml/index.html

    Some very interesting features:

    - Touchscreen aka no buttons to take place away from the LCD
    - Can be set to only capture an image when people smile
    - The touchscreen can be used to direct focus to a specific area
    - 14-bit per color image sensor
    - 9 Point AF
    - ISO 3200
    - Integrated photo effect tool with some very interesting focus point based effect
    - 93.5mm x 59.3mm x 20.4mm
    - 100 shots burst (0.46 sec per shot)
    ...

    Pretty cool.
